# Case Study 4 - Quarry

This quarry processes high silica content stone and was experiencing high levels of fugitive dust emissions throughout the crushing plant. Given the potential health hazards, an effective dust suppression system was required.

Best-Chem installed two separate Foam Dust Suppression System: one at the primary crushing plant and a second at the secondary/tertiary section. The system had an instant impact significantly reduce visible airborne dust emissions from the plant. Whereas, dust from the primary surge pile would drift across the site, this is no longer the case. As with all Best-Chem Systems, the equipment is automated and operates on demand whenever material is being processed.
