3. So - what is the Momar floor care system?
Successful floor maintenance programmes must consistently
- Provide a clean & hygienic environment
- Give a good appearance
- Provide protection to the floor fabric
- Be safe to use
- Be cost effective
Most traditional cleaning agents, sealants and emulsion polishes currently available on the market will meet some of these criteria. However not all criteria will be satisfied and at best for only for a limited time. With the use such products after a while the floors will eventually tinge, discolour, dirt will build up at the edges and dirt will become more difficult to remove - including the dreaded scuff marks - Result - floors require to be stripped back and retreated again and again - sometimes twice or three times a year.
Wooden surfaces treated with varnishes and resin type seals give longer protection - but these too have to be removed either using a solvent based product or by sanding. Both these damage and shorten the life expectancy of the wood floor.
In today's highly competitive and cost conscious market the potential SAVINGS from reduced labour and cleaning materials cannot be ignored. Added to this the traditional methods and products are responsible for the degeneration of floor fabrics with implication of major costs of replacing floor coverings.

So - what is the Momar Floor Care System ?? The system revolves around a unique product INSURANCE - a unique blend of acrylic co-polymer resins, non slip waxes, cleaning and hardening agents. These give the hard floor surfaces a polymer finish that seal, polishes and protects.
We call it a system because it comprises a collection of 5 products and unique techniques that when used in the right combination will
- Give a high gloss non-slip finish that never requires to be stripped back
- Provide a clean and hygienic environment
- Considerably reduce the cleaning frequency
- Provide protection to the floor fabric whilst giving it an excellent appearance
